Emergency Medicine

Northwestern Memorial's Department of Emergency Medicine is a Level I adult trauma center, treating more than 68,000 patients per year. On-site services include a CAT scanner, 24-hour laboratory and three radiology rooms to deliver fast and efficient emergency care. A separate area in the emergency department provides rapid treatment for patients with minor injuries or illness during the day and evening.
